Senior Specialist Procurement Processes

Ihr Aufgabengebiet

  • Develop and customize procurement processes as per business requirements
  • Provide recommendations for process improvement based on industry standards
  • Implement catalog buying and maintain documentation
  • Test new processes in the ERP system and maintain test records
  • Continuously improve processes to prevent bottlenecks and lack of acceptance
  • Monitor procurement processes, resolve discrepancies and address issues
  • Create and maintain user training documentation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose and resolve system issues
  • Manage RFPs, POs, and PO confirmations
  • Track and follow up on overdue delivery dates
  • Manage and maintain master data in the system
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Conduct market research for alternate products
  • Optimize the purchasing process on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on procurement matters

Ihr Hintergrund

  • At least 2 years of experience in procurement (previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, would be a plus but is not neccessary)
  • Key-user-experience in procurement using S4HANA
  • Proven experience in implementing supplier catalogues and EDI
  • Significant experience with e-procurement and e-sourcing tools
  • Strong project management skills
  • Extensive experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
