Head of Global Pharmacovigilance

Your activities

  • Lead, along with your team, the responsibility for worldwide pharmacovigilance activities, contributing to measurable patient safety and company success.
  • To guide and develop the motivated employees of your team, consisting of 7 members, in line with our Core Values.
  • Actively participate and continuously improve the PV system and work with the PV database.
  • Create and maintain relevant PV SOPs and PSMF, as well as independently plan and develop other PV documents (e.g., PSUR, RMP, PV contracts).
  • Evaluate and process literature cases and spontaneous reports (e.g., adverse event reports) scientifically.
  • Plan and conduct PV training for our global partners and employees.
  • Prepare and accompany PV audits and inspections.
  • Engage in close collaboration with other departments and partners worldwide to foster effective cooperation.

Your background

  • Completed university degree with a focus on natural sciences, preferably (but not necessary) in human medicine or pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in pharmacovigilance.
  • Desirable initial experience in (digital) leadership of employees and teams, led by an inspiring leadership personality.
  • Ability to efficiently and purposefully coordinate and lead projects, combined with a goal-oriented and independent approach.
  • Reliability, dedication, and precision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, additional language skills such as French, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic are advantageous.
  • Excellent proficiency in using MS Office.
